Electronic Reserves


We are able to scan articles, old exams, class notes, etc. into PDF format and place them on our server. A web index page is then created to view and access articles. You are responsible for providing links to students on your MyCourses page.

  • You must provide full citations for all articles each semester.
  • Please submit electronic reserve requests early so we can process them before you need them. During busy processing times it may take up to two weeks for reserve lists to be completed.
  • Due to copyright restrictions, we can only scan one chapter per book or one article per journal issue.

We assume responsibility for obtaining permission from copyright holders. When permission is denied or a high royalty fee is imposed, we remove scanned material from electronic reserves. We will promptly notify you of any problems. Read more about our copyright guidelines.
