About E. Howard Stolworthy

Edward Howard Stolworthy was a member of the UNH faculty for 46 years as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering. He taught Thermodynamics and Internal Combustion Engines as well as contributing to textbooks. His knowledge of the subject would have contributed to the construction of the university heating plant in the late 1920s, which also doubled as a steam laboratory for the Engineering department.

About the Heating Plant

In 1966, Prof. E. Stolworthy sent his files from the design and construction of the UNH Heating Plant to the university historian.
