About the Letters of tribute to Clarence W. Scott

This book is a compilation of letters written to Clarence W. Scott on the occasion of his fifty-first year at the University of New Hampshire. A letter was sent out to faculty, alumni and friends of UNH asking for letters to Prof. Scott in commemoration of his long service. The letters were then bound together into a book. Also included are letters from his daughter Alice to Phil Wilcox, then UNH museum curator, concerning the transfer of the book to UNH in 1974.
