About Mary Louise Phillips

Mary Louise Phillips (29 September 1885 Concord NH - 20 June 1971 Franklin NH) was the daughter of Harry Phillips and Mary Tonkin. She married Harold Moses Eastman (1892-1971) in 1916 in Lynn, Mass.

About the Diaries

Two diaries covering the year of 1902, when Phillips was 16 and living in Concord, N.H. Topics include school, family, domestic life, health, social life, and the challenges of caring for several younger siblings during her mother's pregnancy. Notes from Phillips's granddaughter and a partial transcription of the dairies are included.
