    Conrad F. Peterson graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1932. While at school he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and editor of the 1932 Granite Yearbook his junior year. This scrapbook was created by Conrad F. Peterson and contains mostly photographs. Many of the photos were used in the 1932 Granite Yearbook. The binding for the scrapbook was made by Conrad.

    The Culver Literary Society at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts in Hanover, NH held its first meeting on December 12, 1871. The purpose of the Society was to improve the elocution, composition and debate skills of its members. The 430 volume library collected by the Society was donated to the College Library in 1894.     E. E. Cummings, 1894-1962, Harvard-educated poet, prose writer, and critic. Seventeen signed letters and postcards from E. E. Cummings, mostly to Seymour Lawrence of the Atlantic Monthly Press. All of the letters and most of the postcards are typescript. Most were mailed from Silver Lake, N.H., where Cummings maintained a home.

    The Cunningham family of Peterboro N.H. and Rockville Ill. was an important early settler family in both towns, migrating west by wagon in 1860 with the Mandville family.     The UNH Dairy Bar is housed in the historic train station which was built in Lynn, Ma. 1896 and moved to Durham in 1911.
