The eternally metamorphosing influence of artistry, passed on through generations of artists for over 30,000 years, was the theme of the 2nd Annual UNH MFA Art Invitational: The Smile Without The Cat.

The Smile Without the Cat showcased the artwork of Master of Fine Arts degree candidates. The media represented in the show included oil on canvas, oil on panel, color pencil on paper, and bronze and plaster sculpture. The exhibit featured 22 artists from 7 different schools.

The other schools who participated included: Brandeis, Washington University, Mass Art in Boston, and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
