Paint Tomorrow by Elizabeth Davenport
April 22 - May 20, 2011
Twenty artists from across the country were featured in the Third Annual UNH Master of Fine Arts Invitational Exhibition in Dimond Library’s University Museum. Current UNH MFA degree candidates invited artists who had played an influential role in their lives to send one or two works to be included in the exhibition. The MFA candidates and their guests, which included teachers, friends, colleagues, and a father of one of the students, are displayed together to visually illustrate the artistic relationship, be it as mentor or friend. Works on display are paintings in acrylic, oil, egg tempera, and watercolor, as well as works on paper.
MFA candidates Nicole Weber, Mark Soderling, and Youngsheen Ahn Jhe are graduating this May and were featured in the 2011 MFA Thesis Exhibition April 16 - May 20, 2011 at the UNH Museum of Art; Lennie Mullaney, Liz Wilson, Jesse Thomas, and Clara Coleman were completing their first year in the MFA program.
