About the Students for Open Debate Newsletter

In the spring of 1970, the students at the University of New Hampshire went on strike. This was in reaction to the killing of 4 students at Kent State College by National Guard Troops during an anti-war demonstration on May 4, 1970. This series contains one issue of a newsletter produced by the group Students for Open Debate at the University of New Hampshire. The group and its publication was intended as an organized alternative to the newsletter "Strike Daily" that was produced at the same time.
