Charles Cummings was a doctor who practiced in Fitzwilliam, N.H. He was born 23 Sep 1777, son of Joseph Cummings and Anna Gove, and married Polly Hemenway in 1798. He died 27 Dec. 1849 in Roxbury, N.H.

This little book contains a collection of formulas from “distinguished Practitioners” for various linaments, bitters, Anti Red Rover or bed bug destroyer, inks, tinctures, pain killers, tooth wash, and tooth powder.
