About the Inscriptions From Some Cemeteries in Durham

This folder contains pages 59-83 of a typed manuscript titled "Inscriptions from some Homestead Cemeteries and other Burial Places in Strafford County in and around Dover, N.H. and a few from the adjoining County of York ME.compiled and typed by Emma Neal Steuerwald from collections made by members." Presented by Margery Sullivan Chapter No. 278, Daughters of the American Revolution of Dover, N.H. Olive Stewart Austin, Regent and Florence Hammond McDaniel, Librarian. These pages appear to have been separated from the rest of the manuscript because the cemeteries listed are all located in Durham, NH. The last two pages appear to have been added by Philip Wilcox of the Durham Historical Society sometime later.
