Four letters between Maxine Kumin and William B. Ewert in 1973 that document the publication of Kumin’s poem “On Digging Out Old Lilacs” in the Friends of the University of New Hampshire Library Newsletter (Dec. 1973). Also included is a typescript copy of the poem, a program from Kumin’s reading at the Writer’s Forum, State University of New York at Brockport (Feb. 1976), and a photograph of Kumin.
