Letter written by Nancy Doe April 29, 1825 to the Congregational church in Durham. In the letter, Doe confesses that she had “criminal connexions with the man who is since my husband” and she asks for the forgiveness of the church. Also included on the same letter is a reply from Rev. Federal Burt.
