About the News Bureau
The job of the News Bureau is to tell the university's story to internal and exernal audiences and to work with the media on behalf of the university. The News Bureau is now known as the UNH Media Relations Office.
About the News Bureau "Good News"
For many years the university used a clipping service which cut stories from national newspapers that mention the university and sent them to the News Bureau. Since bad news often got bigger headlines than the good news, the News Bureau collected some of the more interesting "good news" clips and published them for distribution to university administrators.
The series contains the booklets of good news clippings compiled and distributed by the UNH News Bureau. For many years the booklets were titled Good News, but have also been titled UNH in the News, Faculty in the News, News of the Week, and Media Highlights.
