About Frank Wiggen Randall
Frank Wiggen Randall of Portsmouth (1885-1968) graduated from the New Hampshire College in 1907, and married Jennie Vida Whittier (1885-1965) in 1909. He served his alma mater throughout his life, including as a member and president of the Board of Trustees 1936-1968, Vice Chairman of the UNH Centennial Celebrations, Board of Trustees of the Alumni Association 1928-1937, President of the Board of the Alumni Association 1934-1936, and others. He was awarded the Alumni Meritous Service Award in 1936 and the Charles Pettee Medal in 1957. A student dormatory bears the name Randall Hall in his honor (formally Hitchcock Hall).
About the Frank Wiggen Randall Trustees Certificates
This collection consists of nine certificates dated 1936-1964 appointing Randall as a member of the Board of Trustees, including one dated 1944 which appoints him to the commission to make a study of trust funds.
