About the University of New Hampshire Manchester
In 1985, Gov. John Sununu signed into law a bill making the Merrimack Valley College the sixth college of the University of New Hampshire. The University of New Hampshire at Manchester (UNHM) provides access to UNH associate, bachelor and graduate degree programs for people who live and work in central New Hampshire. UNH Manchester has the same admission, general education and graduation requirements as the main, residential campus in Durham. Innovative, interdisciplinary and practical liberal arts and applied programs reflect the college's urban mission and proactive response to the needs of area business and industry. The campus includes the main building, University Center, at 400 Commercial Street and the fourth floor at 286 Commercial Street in Manchester's historic mill yard.
About the University of New Hampshire Manchester Student Publications
This collection contains the student newspapers of UNH-M, and published student essays. There are also scrapbooks of newspaper clippings.
