About White Mountain Photographs
The Special Collections Department received these photos as a gift from the Bailey Howe Library at the University of Vermont. Additional photos were transferred from UNH’s Media Services.
About the White Mountain Photographs
The collection consists of 242 copy negatives and 106 prints of the White Mountains made for use in the 1980 Media Service’s film, “The White Mountains Cultural View.” Most of the images came from stereographs belonging to the New Hampshire Historical Society in Concord, New Hampshire, and were copied by Evelyn Pearson of Media Services.
