About the Whittemore School of Business and Economics

In 1962, the department of economics and business administration in the College of Liberal Arts was made into a separate school. Named after long-term board member Lawrence F. Whittemore, the Whittemore School of Business and Economics was commonly known as WSBE. In 2013 it was renamed the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
