About the William Heyen Papers
William Heyen and William B. Ewert, a publisher of fine limited edition poetry books, broadsides, and cards in Concord, NH, were close friends for many years. Heyen would often send Ewert drafts of his poems, some of them typed, but many written out in hand. Over the years, Ewert published many of them and these published versions can be found in the William B. Ewert Papers. The manuscript versions of the poems can be found here in the William Heyen Papers, along with correspondence from Heyen to Ewert and material about Heyen’s career.
