I lead the UNH Libraries' information literacy and instruction initiatives, working with the ACRL Information Literacy Framework for Higher Education. Some of my instruction has incorporated gamified information literacy practices. My scholarly background is in American literature, and my doctoral specialty is Sarah Orne Jewett, the 19th-century short story writer from Maine. I write on issues regarding information literacy, 19th-century short story, and genealogy. I have a M.A. and PhD. from University of Connecticut and an MLIS from Simmons.
