About the Boscawen Highway Taxes, 1868

A single ca. 2"x3" notebook details road taxes for Highway District No. 5, dated 1868. It was kept by J.H. Flanders, whose name appears on the cover and within. This may have been a relative of sawmaker John H. Flanders (1807-1863) of Boscawen. Surnames listed within are Atkenson, Boynton, Butter, Eastman, Flanders, Gerish, HGlines, Harris, Mordy, Noyes, and Saltman.
