About the Chappell Studio photographic archival record program
Chappell Studio, Inc. from Fairfield, Iowa began offering a photographic archival record program in 1993. The program provided a photographer to take pictures during the commencement ceremonies, negatives from the graduation commencement ceremonies and an alphabetical listing of each attending graduate with his/her location on the reels of negatives. They also created a photo album of 5x7 color photographs featuring highlight of the graduation ceremony. The people chosen for the highlights are not identified, but often include the speakers and honorary guests.
About the University of New Hampshire Commencement Ceremony Photographs
This collection includes the lists of attending UNH graduates for 1993-2003 and the reels of negatives for 1993-1998 (there are also two reels of negatives for 1991 and 1992). The photos of highlights were removed from the album and placed into folders. There are also color negatives of aerial views of the ceremonies in Cowell Stadium.
