About Phi Mu Delta Fraternity
The Phi Mu Delta fraternity was established in 1918. It began with 3 chapters one of which was the Nu Beta chapter at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. The College became the University of New Hampshire in 1923.
This fraternity lost recognition from their national headquarters after an incident in which two new members were hospitalized for alcohol consumption. They renamed the organization Phi Betta Gamma and function as a fraternity, unrecognized by UNH.
