About the Space Allocation, Repairs, and Renovations Committee
The Space Allocation Repairs and Renovations Committee (SARRC) is the University governance body charged with assigning space, on both a temporary and/or permanent basis. According to its charter, this committee has “ultimate responsibility for” (among other things) approving the allocation of space in all University buildings and approving changes in the use of University lands and buildings. The name was changed from the Space Allocation Committee to the Space Allocation, Repairs and Renovations Committee in June of 1989.
