About Ruth G. Stimson

Ruth G. Stimson graduated from UNH in 1940 with a degree in Home Economics. She joined the Cooperative Extension as a Home Demonstration Agent-at-Large. Shortly after, she was assigned to the Rockingham County Office where she worked until she retired in 1982.

About the Thanks To These Women: Volunteer Leaders in Rockingham County Extension Home Economics Program

In this volume, Ruth Stimson has complied a history of the Rockingham County Extension Home Economics Program using biographical and career information of the women who served as volunteer leaders. Information was gathered and compiled in a scrapbook-style and includes newspaper clippings, letters, photographs, newsletters and autographs. The purpose of the compliation was to acknowledge and publicly thank those women.
