About Thelma B. Thompson
Thelma B. Thompson (b. 1948, MLS University of Iowa 1985) served as Government Information and Maps Librarian at the University of New Hampshire's Dimond Library beginning in 1999. One of her many contributions was extensive work with the historical topographical maps of New England and New York which were scanned and made available through the library's website. She retired in 2014.
About the Thelma Thompson Files
Two boxes of correspondence, proceedural notes, and materials generated in the process of scanning and making available digital versions of topographical maps, as well as from other activities including "GIS Day", fulfilling patron reference requests, and documenting policy changes and training sessions.
