    The Nu Sigma Mu local fraternity was established at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts in 1922. They were installed as the Epsilon chapter of Theta Kappa Phi national fraternity in 1924. In 1959, Theta Kappa Phi united with another national fraternity, Phi Kappa, to make Phi Kappa Theta.     Philip Batchelder from Durham, NH graduated from the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts with a degree in Arts and Sciences in 1918. He was a member of Gamma Theta Fraternity, a reporter for the school newspaper and played baseball. He married Helen Florence Tilton, class of 1917. Families who moved to and helped develop any of the towns from Kennebunk to Dover Point and the Massachusetts border qualify. Across the United States, the Pioneers now number more than 2,000.     The creator of this register is anonymous. A register from an unidentified Portsmouth, N.H.-based shipping company which serviced both the Appledore and Oceanic Hotels on the Isles of Shoals. The register, which covers from July 2 to September 3, 1912, documents the movement of people and cargo between Portsmouth and the Isles of Shoals. In particular, it notes the names of guests and records supplies taken to the hotels over the course of the summer season.

    Frank Wiggen Randall of Portsmouth (1885-1968) graduated from the New Hampshire College in 1907, and married Jennie Vida Whittier (1885-1965) in 1909.
